All projects face unforeseen problems. Ours was a delay in obtaining the kit, which is manufactured in Ukraine. While we were waiting we stripped down and rebuilt an off-road buggy. This gave everyone the chance to learn the fundamentals of: workshop disciplines and procedures, tool control, parts control and to get the feel for how to work as a team. This warm-up period meant that when the kit arrived, we made rapid progress.
